Aktuell befinden wir uns auf Wachstumskurs und wollen unser Administrations-Team erweitern, um unserer steigenden Mitarbeiteranzahl sowie dem Bedarf an zusätzlichen IT-Systemen gerecht zu werden. Durch das zuverlässige Management unserer IT-Infrastruktur schaffst Du die Basis für unser weiteres Wachstum
Du kümmerst Dich um die Installation, den Betrieb sowie die Überwachung der gesamten IT-Infrastruktur für derzeit ca. 60 Kolleginnen und Kollegen
Insbesondere verantwortest Du den Betrieb des Rechenzentrums für Hardware-Systeme mit 20 Servern, Storage-Systemen und Netzwerkkomponenten von Marktführern wie Fujitsu, HP, Sophos, QNAP, Brocade, Netgear
Du stellst den sicherheitskonformen Betrieb von Backup-Systemen, Security Appliance und Netzwerkzugängen nach ISO 27001 sicher
Du managst die Arbeitsplätze mit unseren hauseigenen Produkten der Scout und eLux
Du verwaltest Netzwerk-Komponenten mit dedizierten Netzwerken mit LAN-/WLAN-Netzen, Druckern, Scannern
Du übernimmst das Management unserer Virtualisierungsumgebung auf Basis von VMware vSphere und Proxmox

Dein Profil

Du besitzt ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik / Elektrotechnik / Systemintegration oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung, etwa zum Fachinformatiker (m/w/d)
Du hast bereits mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich IT-Systemadministration, insbesondere mit der Installationen und Konfiguration von IT-Hardware und Softwareverteilung
Idealerweise hast Du bereits Cloud-Ressourcen administriert und Erfahrung mit Thin Clients sowie Microsoft 365
Du besitzt ausgeprägte Systemkenntnisse (Windows und Linux) sowie Erfahrung in der Administration von Servern und Storage-Systemen
Du bist geübt im Umgang mit VMware, Active Directory, Exchange
Du zeichnest Dich durch eine serviceorientierte, operative und strategische Arbeitsweise aus
Deine analytischen und konzeptionellen Fähigkeiten helfen Dir, Dich selbständig in neue Themen einzuarbeiten und Lösungen zu erarbeiten
Du besitzt sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse, sowie gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Your mission

Currently, we are strongly growing and want to expand our administration team to meet the needs of our increasing number of employees and expanding IT systems. You want to play an active role in shaping a growing IT infrastructure? Then you are exactly right with us.

By reliably managing our IT infrastructure you will create the basis for our further growth
Installation, operation and monitoring of our entire IT infrastructure for currently ca. 30 colleagues
Operation of our data center for hardware systems with 20 servers, storage systems and network components from market leaders such as Fujitsu, HP, Sophos, QNAP, Brocade, Netgear
Security-compliant operation of backup systems, security appliance and network access in accordance with ISO 27001
Management of workstations with our in-house products of the Scout Enterprise Management Suite at our headquarters in Karlsruhe, a branch office in Augsburg as well as other home office workstations
Management of network components with dedicated networks with LAN/WLAN networks, printers, scanners
Management of our virtualization environment based on VMware vSphere
Management of centrally provided services and applications in our own data center

Your profile

University degree in computer science / electrical engineering / system integration or a comparable training, e.g. as IT specialist (m/f/d)
Several years of professional experience in the area of IT system administration, especially regarding the installations and configuration of IT hardware, software distribution
Ideally, experience in administrating cloud resources and knowledge regarding ThinClients and Microsoft 365
Strong system knowledge (Windows and Linux) as well as experience in the administration of servers and storage systems
Experience in dealing with VMware, Active Directory, Exchange
Service-oriented, operative and strategic way of working
Analytical and conceptual skills helping you to independently familiarize yourself with new topics and to work out solutions
Very good German skills and good English skills (spoken and written)
